Julie helped us find our first home. Both my husband and I were nervous about the process and she met with us to calm our nerves and walk us through the process. She was able to take us on showings within 24 hours of notifying her and that fast turnaround time helped us get into the home we have today. Julie made what could have been a very stressful time for us, an exciting event. She also helped two of our friends get into beautiful homes. Selling our first home that Julie Shafer sold to us (13 years ago) was a hard enough decision to make. We loved our home and started our family there. You would have thought it would have been daunting. Not so with Julie Shafer. She made everything so easy from beginning to end! Her guidance through every stage of helping from getting our home ready with staging and suggestions to negotiating and presenting all offers. Since we had multiple offers, she stayed with us until close to 1am to ensure we got the best deal we could. She made a process that so many other people have told me is difficult almost pleasant. I would recommend Julie to any other person that would be buying or selling their home. She will take care of you!

My husband and I went through our first home buying experience in 2017, and we could not have been luckier to work with Julie Shafer as our realtor. Julie's experience, professionalism and passion were apparent from the moment we met her for our first home tour. As first time homebuyers, we had very little baseline knowledge regarding the purchasing process and were often afraid that we were not asking important questions. Julie was a constant source of comfort during a challenging purchasing process. She always made herself available for questions, provided great advice, and was proactive in following-up on action items. She advocated for our family at every point in the purchasing process. In our particular case, this involved calmly and effectively engaging the seller in "tough conversations" that ensured every aspect of our purchase agreement was honored. Julie exceeded all expectations. Her actions demonstrated that she truly cared about our family's well-being. We are so grateful for Julie's efforts and we would happily work with her again. I first met Julie when she was showing a property that I was interested in purchasing. She was very thorough in showing the entire property to me. She was forthcoming about answering my concerns and clarifying any concerns she may have had for a potential buyer. I was very pleasantly surprised to have an agent acting so transparent in showing the property and making the buying decision truly informed. Subsequently, I called Julie and requested her assistance in finding houses on my behalf. I am investing for rental purposes, so the price point is not lofty. Other agents in similar circumstances would offer to help but then would disappear. Julie not only took it upon herself, she did a lot of analysis regarding the subject property, comparables and the neighborhood valuations. We eventually found a great investment property and we successfully purchased the property. That sounds simple; however, it was a bank-owned property and FannieMae was holding the paper on the transaction. The process of purchasing such a house was daunting, but Julie was fabulous in processing the large amount of documentation and disclosure necessary to make the sale complete. I would recommend Julie to anyone looking for a house, and as a seller’s agent Julie has great advice for staging and updating simple items to increase the value a seller can receive. She is a great agent and I am thrilled to share my experience with anyone willing to listen. Thank you so much for your great work Julie!

Moving is never easy. Packing up your life and getting it to your new home should be the only thing you worry about. Sometimes the unforseen happens and when it does you depend on your realtor to get you over any hurdles that may appear. Saying that Julie moved heaven and earth to get us into our new home is an understatement. She quelled any fears we had that our home would sell and worked all hours to make sure we knew what was happening. It's that level of service that not only made me trust Julie more but really put into perspective what it means to have a great realtor. My family was fortunate to have Julie. We celebrated the holidays in our beautiful new home thanks to Julie's tireless work.
