About Me
About Me
I have been a resident of Omaha for over 30 years and I have come to know the city and surrounding areas well during that time. In my previous career as a physician, I developed several skills which relate to real estate, such as the ability to listen and help guide people in decisions regarding their health. These are critical skills for a Realtor as well, in order to help you, as a buyer or seller, navigate through your real estate experience. I particularly enjoyed the strong relationships that were built with my staff and patients and feel that is another important value I can give you as your Realtor.
Community
I have been involved in community activities throughout my life. As a youth I was involved in scouting and obtained the rank of Eagle. As an adult I have served as a volunteer on two National Jamboree staffs, as well as several years as a scoutmaster. I believe scouting promotes the development of well rounded, self motivated individuals who value trustworthiness and a desire to improve themselves and their communities.
I have also coached baseball and softball at the youth level for several seasons. I am a firm believer that these activities are a great way to demonstrate and promote, through example, the importance of listening, hard work, persistence, attention to detail, problem solving, sportsmanship and honesty.
I am a Creighton Bluejay fan and a Husker fan.
Family
My wife and I have been married for 30 years, we are passionate about the arts and have been strong supporters of local theater for many years. We have 7 grown children, so I fully appreciate the needs of growing families, as well as those starting to downsize. I would appreciate the opportunity to be able to use my skills and energy to help you find the home of your dreams.
